I can't really remember the first time I actually indulge the taste of Tea. (written with capital 'T' to express significance) maybe it was when my mother made them for tea, or when my grandma made them for breakfast when I balik kampung. or maybe it was when I made them myself and actually forgot to add the sugar. xD
I seldom drink Tea without sugar, I'm a creature of habit. the only times I actually drank Tea sugarless were when i went to Japs restaurants eating sushi with acquaintances of mine. I wasn't at all disgusted, I was more like, enjoying the 'true' nature of Tea, not being veiled by the taste of sugar. :D well, sometimes sugar does amplify the characteristics of Tea, I must admit. but it gives the impression that Tea itself is sweet, which is quite deceiving.
Now I have the opportunity to sample different kinds of Tea, having found a few brands that offer a diverse selection, which in my opinion is quite surprising. the tastes of different Tea may have either subtle or major differences in character. and what I love is sometimes my friends and I actually pair the Tea we were having with another thing-edible thing. =p the Tea actually made my head work. haha.
