Episode 24: Benched!

For those who are involved in physical recreational activities such as myself, every now and then we tend to get injuries be it minor or major. reasons may vary from tripping over a stone, sprainig your ankle to falling down a cliff. one way or another, it's bad for us.

Well different people have different tendencies to get injured, some sprain their ankles just by brisk walking, others hardly scratch themselves following a nasty fall. all this is attributed by 2 things, our biological predisposition (hereditary) and any kind of training that we had (environmental).

Each of us has our own preset of capabilities ie for this topic, our reaction time. the faster you can see things, the faster you brain analyzes them, the faster you will react, avoiding injuries in the process. see? biological. so naturally like this it is possible to avoid a large bump on your head upon seeing a 120km/h baseball coming your way. xD

Through training however, we will become more adeptand avoiding sticky situations, ie an experienced football player who plays frequently will learn how to handle tackles, pushes and body contacts from his opponents thus reducing the risk of getting himself injured.

Last but not least there ara equipments that help avoid injuries, knee pads, ankle guards, helmets and others of similar nature. having preventive measures always help. :) lets us be more careful any time! Well nobody wants to go home atthe end of the day crippled rite?

Cheers~
