Most of the time, I wonder what makes people happy. Is it friends and family? belongings? power and position? love? something else? whatever it is, u can see happiness when there are smiles, let it be real or fake, people smiling tell us that they are happy. so when they don't, are they?
So basically when people are smiling, and sudenly they are not, then they are not happy. let it be about one thing or another. and in human social interactions, favoring one over the other is something natural, gestures suggest that 'I like you' or 'I don't like u'.
Some people tend to overlook these gestures, especially the 'I don't like u' sign, because interactions are 2-way processes, and favoring a person doesn't mean the person will definitely favor u. while in other cases, we try to override this, and win the favor of the subject.
So the point is we have to be careful when assessing these kinds of situations, know our grounds, and work out a feasible solution. the most excellent result would be winning the favor, but other times, to walk away is probably the best idea. you're hurt, but not much.
