Episode 5: The Trace of Our Lives

i've been thinking, how much of our daily lives (whether its boring or not) had colored, spiced, or influenced our dreams. and to what extent. say, if i do nothing today, (well, nothing in the sense anything else than eating sleeping and walking etc etc..) will i have a dream, or will i have a boring dream..or does it not matter?

as for myself, i never felt that way. i've always loved to dream because, only there i can be anywhere anytime anyhow with anyone. and my life never really reflected in my dreams. but for other people, this may not be the case. they have replays of their REAL lives when they sleep.

condition 1: they have absolutely the same idea, and almost no notable changes in their dreams. simply put - like a replay.

condition 2: the idea is similar, but main points are changed. ie; you took your Physics test today and screwed up big time. in your dream it happened the other way round. hero of the day.

well..one way or another, seems like the reality has certain influence on our dreams, my so called 'perfect world'. and i won't deny, it does happen to me sometimes. but not in the entirety of the dream, just some part of it.

and so i think, though i hate to say this, is that we cannot really fully escape the reality that we live in. it binds to our lives. not so often the word haunting can best describe it. my dream haunts me. is it? or is it a reality? =)

next post, imma continue talking bout the dream-reality connection, but from a less serious point of view. keep reading. thanx~
